David Mongrue retired as the Vice President of Operations for the Consumer & Infrastructure and Industrial Solutions business groups at The Dow Chemical Company in July 2018. During their extensive career, they managed operations at over 150 sites across 37 countries, beginning in manufacturing at the St. Charles Operations site in 1979. They held various leadership positions throughout their tenure, including Manufacturing Director for numerous business units. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University in 1978 and completed postgraduate work in Business Administration. Additionally, they engage in various mentorship and advisory roles, including serving on the Board of Governors for the Manufacturing Leadership Council and LSU's College of Engineering Dean's Advisory Board.
