Gary Parsons is an accomplished building science technical leader currently serving as a Fellow at The Dow Chemical Company since January 2006. In this role, Gary Parsons is responsible for application and product development, focusing on identifying new product opportunities for residential and commercial construction products and systems. Gary Parsons oversees building science research programs with an emphasis on energy and moisture management of building enclosures. Prior to this position, Gary Parsons worked at Dow Plastics from 1988 to 2005 as a Principle Research Scientist, leading application development for engineering thermoplastics and polyolefins in various markets, including automotive, electronics, and appliances. Gary Parsons began the career at Dow Chemical from 1982 to 1988 as a Manufacturing Engineer. Gary Parsons holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, earned between 1977 and 1982.
