Gerald Ouellette

Gerald Ouellette, P. Geo., MEERL, is currently a Policy and Issues Leader at Dow, focusing on climate, carbon, energy, sustainability, and circularity across Canada, including the Path2Zero project. Previously, as Director of Offset Advisory at ClearBlue Markets, Gerald worked on corporate offset strategies and evaluated carbon market opportunities. As Manager of Energy Innovation at Verra, Gerald developed standards for greenhouse gas emissions quantification and led a team on various innovative methodologies related to the energy transition and carbon capture technologies. During tenure with the Government of Alberta, Gerald advanced carbon capture and storage policy, managed technical evaluations of industry proposals, and served as a groundwater policy specialist. Gerald holds a Master's in Earth and Energy Resources Leadership from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Alberta.
