Gregor Layman

Gregor Layman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and process improvement within the chemical industry. As a Senior Improvement Manager at Dow since February 2010, Gregor oversees a portfolio of 20 capital and expense projects in the POPG sector, managing a budget of $20 million while guiding annual and future capital expenditures. Previously, Gregor served as a Lead Improvement Manager, leading the migration of the Process Automation system to ABB across multiple global locations, and as a Sadara Manufacturing Representative, managing the commissioning and start-up of critical systems and utilities for the POPG Shared Systems. Additional experience includes managing the integration of the Sadara Hydrogen Peroxide plant and overseeing improvement projects in the Dow Freeport Plant. Gregor holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and an MBA with a focus on Business Administration and International Finance from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
