James Spencer is an experienced engineering leader with a career spanning over two decades in the chemical and materials industries. Currently serving as the Performance Materials & Coatings Process Engineering Leader at Dow since November 2016, James has led teams in various roles including Process Engineering Technology Leader for Consumer Solutions and Performance Silicones Process Engineer. Prior to Dow, James worked at Dow Corning as Process Design Manager and Process Design and Development Team Leader, overseeing multiple capital projects. Earlier experience at Hemlock Semiconductor Corporation included leading a team in a significant green site expansion and optimizing production processes. James holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
