Jie Wu is a Research Scientist at Dow since July 2014, focusing on the development of functional polyolefins for various applications including plastic recycling, packaging, infrastructure, and transportation. In previous roles as Associate Research Scientist and Senior Research Chemist, Jie Wu led innovation projects in adhesives and coatings for flexible packaging and industrial applications, responsible for synthesizing new polymers and ensuring product compliance with global regulations. Jie Wu holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering with a concentration in Polymer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where study was conducted from 2009 to 2014.
