Joe Binder

Joe Binder is a Senior Research Scientist at The Dow Chemical Company, where since 2015, significant contributions have been made in product development, collaboration, intellectual property, and manufacturing improvement. Key achievements include the invention and commercialization of several innovative adhesive products and mentoring emerging talent. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Scientist at BP, where leadership in renewable materials and biotechnology strategies was demonstrated, along with successful project management of a pilot reactor and technology transfer. Additionally, distinguished as one of BP's top young scientists, significant contributions were made to renewable fuels at the University of Wisconsin as a Graduate Fellow, along with roles at Pacific Northwest National Lab and Archer Daniels Midland. Joe Binder holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and Physics from Illinois Wesleyan University.
