John McDermott

John McDermott is the Lead Technologist at The Dow Chemical Company, where they support project leads in optimizing process conditions for new chemistry and troubleshoot cleanroom tools. Previously, John worked as a Polymerization Technician at Toray Plastics, gaining extensive experience in processing and maintenance while training junior technicians. Their career began at Shipley Chemical Co. as a Chemical Processing Technician I, where they advanced to trainer and gained proficiency in a variety of chemical processing tasks. John continues their education at Columbia Southern University.
