Michael Behr

Michael Behr is an experienced professional in materials science and engineering, currently serving as a Senior R&D Leader at Dow since July 2010, with a progression through roles such as R&D Group Leader, Research Scientist, Associate Research Scientist, and Senior Engineer. Prior to Dow, Michael was a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota from September 2004 to June 2010, where research focused on atomic hydrogen's role in carbon nanotube etching and synthesis, culminating in a PhD thesis. Earlier experience includes an internship at Honeywell Aerospace, where Michael contributed to the development of chemical-mechanical polishing processes for integrated circuit manufacturing. Academic credentials include a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemical Physics from Saint John's University.
