Michael Molnar

R&d Fellow

Michael Molnar is an accomplished professional in the field of chemical engineering with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as an R&D Fellow at Dow since June 2016, Michael has held multiple titles, including Principal Process Research Scientist and Senior Research Scientist, focusing on process route and technology selection, process development, and pilot plant work. Prior to Dow, roles at Dow Corning involved process engineering for silanes, while a lengthy tenure at Hemlock Semiconductor encompassed positions such as Sr. Process Engineering Specialist, where Michael contributed to the development and improvement of processes for high purity polycrystalline silicon and silanes. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Engineering (M.S.E.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering with an additional major in Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University.
