Michael Tran

Michael Tran is a Senior R&D Leader at The Dow Chemical Company, where they have been employed since 2011, also serving as a Research Scientist from 2011 to 2025. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Scientist at INVISTA from 2008 to 2011 and as a Research Engineer at Arkema from 1998 to 2004. Michael holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London, obtained from 2004 to 2008, as well as two Bachelor of Science degrees in Materials Science and Engineering and Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University, earned from 1994 to 1998.
