Paul Cookson

Paul Cookson is currently a TS&D Fellow in Polyurethanes at The Dow Chemical Company, where they focus on innovative solutions in the field. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Polymer Chemistry and a Master's in Polymer Science and Technology from the University of Manchester - Institute of Science and Technology, Cookson has built a solid foundation in research and development. Their previous roles include serving as a Development Technologist at British Vita and several leadership positions at Dow, including Global Innovation Leader for ComfortScience and Lead R&D Manager for Consumer Comfort. Cookson's expertise also extends to research at the Manchester Materials Science Centre, where they worked on smart polymeric coatings.
