Preston McDaniel

Preston McDaniel has extensive experience in polymer science and materials engineering, holding a Bachelor of Science from The University of Southern Mississippi and a Ph.D. from the University of Delaware. Professional experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Southern Mississippi, a Composites Manufacturing Intern at GE Aviation, and a Senior R&D Engineer at The Dow Chemical Company. Additional roles include a Formulation Science Intern at GSK and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Delaware Center for Composite Materials. Skills encompass conducting research on copolymers and polysaccharides, developing phase diagrams, and utilizing nanomilling techniques for drug applications, along with experience in manufacturing composite materials and improving their properties for aerospace and healthcare industries. Currently, Preston holds the position of R&D Leader in Core R&D Analytical Science at Dow.
