Rick Wood is an experienced chemical engineer with a robust background in process engineering and technology development. Currently serving as Lead Process Engineer at The Dow Chemical Company since March 2015, Rick oversees a team responsible for the design and delivery of the process design package for the Unipol polyethylene technology. Prior roles include Senior Process Engineer at BP, where Rick developed licensing engineering packages for biofuels, and various positions at Idaho National Laboratory, including Process Modeling Lead and Senior Process Engineer. Rick's early career includes roles at Eastman Chemical Company focusing on process improvement and at Betz Laboratories as a steel mill plant operator. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
