Shawn Jacob

Shawn Jacob graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering Honors and a Certificate in Computer Science. Throughout their academic career, Shawn engaged in extensive research, accumulating over 2,000 hours at prestigious institutions such as Harvard, Rice University, and the Methodist Research Institute, contributing to published papers and developing valuable skills in nanomedicine and neuroscience. Currently, Shawn serves as a Senior TS&D Engineering Specialist at Dow Chemicals, where they lead R&D automation projects and have developed strong project management and safety focal point skills. Previously, Shawn had roles including Process Automation Engineer and teaching PSAT, SAT, and GRE classes.
