Soham Dutta possesses extensive experience in chemical engineering and research, having served as a PhD candidate at Carnegie Mellon University from 2014 to 2018, focusing on surface science, catalysis, and enantiomer chemistry. Prior to this, Soham worked as a Process Design Engineer at Desmet Ballestra, leading design projects for vegetable oil refining plants from 2007 to 2010. Subsequent roles include a Chemicals Technology Engineer at Ascend Performance Materials from 2012 to 2014, where technology projects aimed at enhancing productivity were executed, and a Sr. Research Engineer at The Dow Chemical Company from 2018 to 2021. Currently, Soham holds the position of Associate Research Scientist at Dow since February 2021. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering, both from Carnegie Mellon University.
