Tamara Coppens is a seasoned Environmental, Health, and Safety leader with over 25 years of experience driving EH&S performance across various sectors. They have served as a Global EH&S Learning Director and North America Remediation Director at Dow since 2019, focusing on enhancing employee learning experiences and implementing innovative hazard identification technologies. Prior to this, Tamara held multiple associate director roles at The Dow Chemical Company, where they led significant projects in organizational redesign and the modernization of EH&S management systems. Additionally, they have been an adjunct instructor in the Science Division at Delta College since 1998, teaching subjects such as Environmental Science and Microbiology. Tamara is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Molecular Biology at Central Michigan University.
