Ying Yu

Ying Yu is a Senior R&D Leader at Dow, where they focus on process optimization and improvement within the Packaging, Specialty Plastics, and Hydrocarbons R&D sectors. Ying previously held positions as an Associate Research Scientist and Senior Research Specialist at Dow, as well as research intern roles in both Dow and Brewer Science, where they utilized computational chemistry to enhance product design and investigate reaction mechanisms. They earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University, specializing in computational catalysis, and have also pursued further education in management and data science.
