Brian Pyper

Brian Pyper has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Brian is currently working as a Principal at Dowco Consultants. Previously, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Dowco Group of Companies, where they were responsible for various services in structural steel, mass timber, drafting, consulting, project management, and building information modelling. Before joining Dowco, Brian held various roles at Waiward Steel LP, including Vice President of Operations and Structural Steel Technical Drafting/Technician. Brian also worked as a Structural Steel specialist at Dowco Group of Companies and as an Iron Worker - Steel Erector at East Fife Erectors. Brian began their career in the military.

Brian Pyper has a diverse education history. Brian holds a Diploma in Project Management & Development from Simon Fraser University. Brian also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Strategy and Operations Management and Development from Athabasca University. Additionally, they obtained a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Management (PBDM) with a specialization in Business Administration and Management from the same institution. Brian also holds a diploma in Architectural and Structural Drafting from Vancouver Community College (VCC). Brian has further certifications in Construction Management, Lean Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, and BIM (Building Information Modeling). Brian is also a certified Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
