Michael Fields

Mr. Fields is an experienced senior executive and strong leader with 40 years’ experience in building, growing, and managing both high growth NYSE companies and entrepreneurial small and midsize businesses, executing significant consolidations and over 455 acquisitions. Currently, Mr. Fields is Managing Director of Magentus, LLC, an investment and consulting company, and of National Performance Solutions, LLC, a company engaged in the marketing of patented lubricant technology worldwide. In addition to serving as Dowley’s past Chairman, he is also Chairman of the Board of Great WesternValve Co, Inc., a Houston-based valve remanufacturer and repair company. Mr. Fields was President and a Director of Medserve, Inc. until it was sold to Stericycle, Inc. in 2009. Medserve was created in 2005 through a merger of Enserv LLC a medical waste firm founded by Mr. Fields to consolidate the industry – and MedShred, Inc., a mobile technology medical waste processing company. From 2005 through 2009, Medserve acquired twenty-three companies to become the second largest medical waste company in the United States, after only Stericycle. In 1999 he founded InteCon, an integration and consolidation consulting firm providing management consulting to companies in the $10 million to $400 million annual revenue range, with specific emphasis on assistance in securing debt and equity investment capital, and the development/execution of integration, operational, growth and management strategies. He has also served as Senior Vice President, Operations, for Coach USA, Inc., a $1 billion revenue NYSE traded Transportation Company with 103 locations, until its successful $1.2 billion sale to a larger European company, and as Regional President for American Residential Services Inc., a consolidator of the $150 billion industry for residential and commercial electrical, plumbing, and heating and air conditioning installation and repair services which grew to $450 million in nationwide revenue. Mr. Fields is a graduate of Lamar University and holds a BBA degree in Marketing and Economics.
