Andrew Baartz has over a decade of engineering and management experience in the construction and mining industries. Currently serving as the Regional Manager for Queensland at Downer since August 2016, Andrew has held various positions including Manager of Implementation & Improvement and Project Manager. Prior experience includes a tenure at Laing O'Rourke from January 2013 to August 2016 as a Site Engineer on the Ichthys Cryogenic Tanks Project, as well as multiple roles in mechanical engineering. Andrew began a career at Xstrata Copper as an Undergraduate Engineer in late 2011. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Queensland, earned in 2012.
