Ben Dang

Ben Dang is a civil engineer with a strong background in customer service and engineering projects. Ben began working as a cashier at Gales Cafe during high school and university, where interpersonal skills were developed through daily customer interactions. Subsequently, Ben gained practical experience during internships at Downer New Zealand, contributing to the State Highway 58 Safety Improvements Project as a Surfacing Engineer and transitioning to a Graduate Civil Engineer role. Ben's final rotation in the Downer Graduate Programme took place on the Porirua Wastewater Retention Tank project. Most recently, Ben worked as a Graduate Structural Engineer with Hawkins on the Wynyard Quarter Site 6 project in Auckland. Ben holds a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours in Civil Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
