Christopher Bowen

Christopher Bowen is an experienced professional with a strong background in business development, engineering, and project management within the rail and transit sectors. Currently serving as GM Business Development at Downer since December 2017, Christopher focuses on emerging markets, managing customer relationships, opportunity pipelines, and strategic partnerships. Previous roles at Downer include GM Engineering Business Development and Bids, where responsibilities encompassed project proposal development and technical management for significant projects. With foundational engineering experience gained through roles at Public Transport Victoria and Engineered Solutions Asia Pacific, Christopher also has expertise in R&D and project coordination. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Project Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from RMIT University.
