David Pointer

David Pointer is a seasoned Contracts Administrator and Quantity Surveyor with 30 years of experience in the civil, oil, and gas construction industries across New Zealand, the Middle East, and Asia. They have held various roles, including Senior Contracts Engineer at Tullow Oil and Contracts and Procurement Manager at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, where they were responsible for multi-million dollar contract administration. David has developed integrated costing and progress evaluation systems throughout all phases of project life cycles, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills. Currently, they serve as the Commercial Manager for the O2NL Project at Downer while continuing to leverage their extensive expertise in quantity surveying and project management. David holds a Master of Business Administration, a Diploma in Project Management, and a New Zealand Certificate in Quantity Surveying.
