Glen Kirk

Glen Kirk is an experienced construction and project management professional with a career spanning several notable companies, including Downer and Fletcher Building. Currently serving as Bid Lead at Downer since May 2018, Glen has managed significant projects such as the Northland Corridor and the Interislander Resilient Connection Programme. Previous roles include Project Director for Kiwirail’s Wiri to Quay Park and City Rail Link C2 projects, as well as numerous leadership positions in various alliances and construction teams. Glen's foundation in engineering began with early roles at Downer and Earthmoving Contractor, leading to a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Engineering currently in progress at The University of Auckland. Glen also holds various post-graduate qualifications in Road Pavement Design and Construction and has a rich background in mechanical fitting from an apprenticeship at EH Eddington.
