Laura Burke

Laura Burke is currently the National Operations Manager at Downer, leading national operations teams in ITS, Greenspace, Cranes, and Roadmarking since 2024. Previously, Burke served as the National Pre-Construction Manager and worked as a Bid Lead, Estimator, and Graduate Civil Engineer at Downer New Zealand, where they gained extensive experience in civil infrastructure projects across the South Island. Burke obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with First Class Honors and a Master’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Canterbury. Their early career included internships that provided practical experience in traffic control and temporary works design.
