Matt James

Matt James is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Manager at Downer since September 2023. Previously, Matt held the position of Director of Roads and Infrastructure at Coorong District Council from May 2021 to August 2023, and Manager of City Infrastructure at Rural City of Murray Bridge from July 2013 to June 2021, overseeing the management of technical and financial aspects of council assets, including buildings, recreational facilities, and various infrastructure services. Prior to these roles, Matt worked as Project Manager - SA at Interflow Pty Ltd, Operations Manager at Civil Mining Group, and Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure at Watpac Limited. Matt holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Adelaide, completed in 2000.
