Matthew Thomson

Matthew Thomson is an experienced operations and project manager with a focus on water infrastructure and wastewater systems. Currently serving as Operations Manager for Downer since September 2006, Matthew has held various leadership roles, including Delivery Manager and Renewals Program Manager, overseeing significant projects such as the water and wastewater renewals program and key upgrades at multiple wastewater treatment plants. Prior to joining Downer, Matthew worked as a Site Engineer at Fulton Hogan on projects including the Jindabyne Dam upgrade and Douglas Ring Road Project. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering from James Cook University, earned between 1999 and 2003.
