Michael Coup

Michael Coup is a seasoned professional in the civil construction industry with extensive experience spanning from October 2007 to the present. Currently serving as a Construction Manager at Downer, Michael oversees the civil works at Karanga-a-Hape Station for the Link Alliance, focusing on structural and surface works. Previously, Michael held the role of Senior Project Engineer within the same alliance, contributing to the City Rail Link project, and worked on significant projects such as the SH16 Lincoln to Westgate project for NZTA while at Hawkins. Michael's diverse background includes positions at Transfield Services, where responsibilities encompassed site and project management across various infrastructure initiatives, and prior experience as an ITS Engineer focused on traffic management systems. Michael has also owned and managed a marketing business, demonstrating versatility in both engineering and business operations.
