Mike Thomas is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in food service and hospitality management. Currently, Mike serves as the Executive Manager for Patient & Commercial Food at Downer, leading operations that cater to over 2.2 million patients and customers annually at a leading hospital. Previously, Mike held various roles including Retail Business Manager and General Manager/Shareholder in Adelaide's hospitality sector, as well as serving as the EPICURE State Manager for South Australia. Additional experience includes roles at Spotless Group, SkyCity Entertainment Group, and The Associated Press. Mike holds a Remote Pilot Accreditation from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, a Diploma in Leadership Communications from Carnegie Mellon University in Australia, and Advanced Diplomas from TAFE SA in Hospitality Administration and Commercial Photography.
