Paul Stone

Paul Stone is an accomplished professional in project controls and management with extensive experience spanning over four decades across various construction and engineering sectors. Currently serving as the National Project Controls Manager at Downer since September 2018, Paul has overseen significant projects including the iReX project for KiwiRail and the City Rail Link in Auckland. Prior roles include Project Controls Manager at McConnell Dowell, managing crucial recovery projects post the 2016 Kaikoura earthquake and the Waterview Connection project. Prior to that, Paul held senior management positions at Ebert Construction Ltd, Gammon Construction Limited, AMEC, and others, showcasing a strong background in civil engineering with an academic foundation from the University of Nottingham.
