Ron Hayward

Ron Hayward is an experienced Senior Project Manager at Downer, with a tenure beginning in July 2010 and encompassing roles such as Mobile Plant Surfacing Project Manager and Project Manager. Responsibilities include managing civil contract and RTA projects in the greater Sydney region and supporting additional projects across NSW. Prior to Downer, Ron served as a Director at Hayward Corp from 2007 to 2010, and held the position of Civil Construction Verifier for Kamen Engineering, focusing on significant civil works at Sydney Airport. Ron's earlier career includes project management at Boral Asphalt, where the oversight of multiple projects in NSW and ACT was undertaken, along with roles in asphalt contracts management and quality assurance with Pioneer North Queensland Pty Ltd and Pioneer Road Services Pty Ltd. Ron's engineering foundation was established with an Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering from Sydney Technical College, complemented by a HSC from Killarney Heights High School.
