Shane Smith

Shane Smith is a seasoned sourcing and procurement professional with over 20 years of experience across local and global organizations in both the private and public sectors. They currently serve as the Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing at Downer, where they lead sourcing strategy and commercial governance for key ICT vendors. Shane has previously held significant roles, including Senior Manager at ASX, General Manager at nbn™ Australia, and numerous positions in procurement and contract management at other notable organizations. In addition to their corporate roles, Shane is also an External Program Facilitator with Corrective Services NSW, helping vulnerable individuals develop skills to reduce reoffending. Shane holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA from the University of New England and a Master of Dispute Resolution from the University of Technology Sydney.
