Taryn Smith

Taryn Smith has extensive experience in financial management, currently serving as General Manager - Group Reporting at Downer since June 2020. Prior roles at Downer include Group Financial Controller and Senior Manager Financial Reporting. Taryn's previous experience also encompasses the position of Financial Controller at Downer Professional Services and Group Reporting Manager at Downer. Prior to these roles, Taryn held various positions at Deloitte Australia, including Director and Manager, and gained experience as a Senior at both BDO USA, LLP and BDO South Africa. Taryn holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Cape Town, earned between 2001 and 2005.
