Wessam Thomas

Wessam Thomas is currently the Commercial Manager for NSW/ACT at Downer, overseeing Road Services. With extensive experience as a procurement professional, Wessam previously held roles at Bouygues Construction Australia, where they served as a Senior Procurement Officer for major tunneling projects, and as a Procurement Specialist at Sahara Middle East Petroleum Services. Wessam also acted as Contracts Manager for the Sydney Metro West project with Gamuda Australia and held a Senior Procurement & Contracts Manager position at Downer prior to their current role. Wessam earned a Master's degree in Project Management - Construction Management from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Applied Science University.
