Anne Sanders

Anne Sanders has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Anne started their career with Crowe Clark Whitehill LLP, where they underwent chartered accountant training from September 1996 to September 1999. Anne then joined KPMG UK as an Assistant Manager from February 2000 to August 2000. In the same year, they also worked as a Financial Accountant at ISL Marketing Ltd from August 2000 to May 2001, where they were involved in various sports media and marketing activities.

Anne Sanders's career took an upward trajectory when they joined Channel 5 in June 2000. Anne held several positions during their tenure, including Assistant Finance Manager from June 2000 to April 2002, Senior Finance Manager from April 2002 to February 2009, Financial Controller from February 2009 to July 2011, and Interim Senior Finance Manager Business Planning from March 2007 to April 2008. At Channel 5, they managed different finance teams and played a key role in management accounts, financial reporting, credit control, treasury, and audit activities. Anne also participated in business planning, company valuations, and new business development projects.

Following their successful stint at Channel 5, Anne Sanders joined Octopus Investments in March 2013. Anne served as the Group Financial Controller until August 2016, and then took on the role of Group Finance Director until February 2020. During their time at Octopus Investments, they played a strategic role in guiding the financial management of the company.

Anne Sanders is currently working as the CFO at Downing LLP, a position they have held since February 2020.

Anne Sanders attended Moreton Hall in Shropshire from 1984 to 1992. However, no information was given about the degree or field of study they pursued during this time. Later, from 1993 to 1997, Anne Sanders obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) Hons. in Economics from Edinburgh University.
