Matt Pierce

Matt Pierce is an Associate at Downing. Matt has previously worked at Cambridge Respiratory Innovations, DiA Imaging Analysis, Arecor Limited, Adaptix Ltd, MIP Diagnostics Limited, LIfT BioSciences, Downing Ventures, and GENinCode_ Predictive Genetics. From April 2018 to September 2019, they were a Manager at Downing LLP, where they managed the process from investment idea into marketed financial securities and products. Since August 2019, they have spread their time between the product team and the life science venture team at Downing.

After completing their GCSEs, Matt Pierce studied for the ACA at ICAEW. Matt then went on to study for a Bachelor of Science in Bioscience with Biotechnology at The University of Edinburgh. Finally, they completed the International Baccalaureate in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Geography, English and Spanish at Worth Abbey.
