Rebecka Wessling

Rebecka Wessling currently serves as a Portfolio Executive and previously as a Portfolio Analyst in the Operations & ESG team at Downing, focusing on the environmental management of renewable energy assets, including Solar, Wind, Hydro, Reserve Power, and Storage technologies. Responsibilities encompass sustainable land management, ESG reporting compliant with Article 9 and GRESB, health and safety audits, and managing environmental permits. Prior experience includes roles as an Aquarist at Stiftelsen Skansen, an Environmental Consultant at SellénMiljö, and an intern at Naturvårdsverket, where a project concentrated on polluted sediments. Rebecka has also held positions as a Sampler at Lantmännen Agroetanol AB and a Sustainability Consultant at Sustainergies, while gaining early experience as an intern at Calluna AB. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Natural Geography and Quaternary Geology from Stockholm University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Linköping University.
