DAC (Downtown Art Center) is an IRS certified 501 (c)(3) arts and culture nonprofit organization with a mission to foster cultural enrichment through exhibitions, performances and classes. A community-supported organization, DAC is built on strategic partnerships and collaboration with other nonprofits. One of our goals is to achieve a centralized destination Arts District in the surrounding Chinatown/Downtown community. In addition to providing local arts organizations a beautiful, spacious venue to show their artwork to the public, DAC hosts art and community-related classes and workshops for adults, children and seniors, from fun art classes for kupuna to women’s self-defense classes. No one else is filling this niche the way we do!
