Alexander Blau

Alexander Blau, MD, currently serves as Medical Director at Doximity, a position held since March 2021, focusing on growth initiatives. Previously, from April 2011 to June 2016, Alexander held multiple roles at Doximity, including VP of Growth & Content and VP of Physician Marketing and Medical Director, where responsibilities included leading marketing and user acquisition teams and overseeing the development of clinical programs. Prior experience includes co-founding and serving as President of NiteFloat Inc., a mobile health technology startup aimed at improving healthcare communications, and working as an Emergency Medicine Resident at Stanford University Medical Center. Alexander earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of California, San Francisco, after obtaining a Postbacc Premed Certificate from Columbia University and a BA in Psychology from Wesleyan University.
