Jon Simpson

Jon Simpson has a strong background in data engineering and analysis. Jon started their career as a Genomic Research Intern at the Medical University of South Carolina, where they conducted genetic expression analysis and utilized R/Python for data processing. During this time, they also developed analytical tools and contributed to the improvement of a widely used heatmap visualization library.

In 2017, Jon joined Zimmerman Advertising as a Data Analyst, where they gained experience in data analysis and interpretation. Jon then transitioned to Stonecrop Technologies as a Data Engineer, where they worked on data engineering projects from May 2018 to July 2020.

Currently, Jon is working at Doximity as a Senior Software Engineer, Data. Jon started in July 2020 as a Software Engineer, Data, and later got promoted to the role of a Senior Software Engineer. Their responsibilities at Doximity involve software engineering and data analysis.

Jon Simpson obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Data Science from the College of Charleston, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In 2017, they received a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.
