Ward Bruning is currently working as an adviseur informatiemanagement at Doxis. Prior to this, Ward worked as a medewerker dienstverlening at Bibliotheek Utrecht and as a stagiair onderzoek at Duitsland Instituut Amsterdam where Ward conducted research on the archive of the Genootschap Nederland-Duitsland. Ward also served as the voorzitter at SV Aufschwung, where Ward was responsible for the overall management of the study association. Ward holds a Master of Arts in Duitslandstudies from the University of Amsterdam, a Bachelor of Arts in Duitse taal en cultuur from Utrecht University, and is currently on an exchange program at Leipzig University in Geesteswetenschappen.
