Matt West

Matt West has worked in a variety of roles and industries throughout their career. Matt'sexperience began in 1997 when they became the Owner and Chief Instructor of Five Dragons Martial Arts. In 2008, they joined the California Army National Guard as a Medic and Instructor. In 2012, they worked as a Network Specialist for Charter Communications. From 2014 to 2020, they worked for the County of San Luis Obispo, first as a Network Engineer II and then as a Software Engineer II. In 2014, they also founded and became the Lead Instructor of CodeSLO LLC. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineering Manager for Wildnote. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Software Engineering Manager at Dozuki, where they have helped to transform an engineering department.

Matt West attended Colorado State University Global from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
