Andre Martin

Andre Martin is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Communications for DP World in the Middle East, Africa, and Pakistan since April 2020, Andre oversees integrated communications strategies, media relations, and executive communications. Prior to this, Andre held significant positions at Emirates, including Regional Public Relations Head for Europe and later for Africa and Latin America, where responsibilities included developing corporate PR strategies across multiple markets. Other notable roles include Group Head of Corporate Communications at Woolworths, Director of Corporate Relations at Diageo, and Corporate Affairs and Communications Manager at British American Tobacco. Andre has a strong foundational background in journalism, having started a career at Independent Media and worked in broadcasting, and has academic credentials from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and GIBS Business School.
