Cacio Amado is an experienced Safety and Environment Manager with a career spanning over a decade at DP World, where responsibilities have included strategic HSE planning, managing OPEX and CAPEX, and coordinating technical teams in pulp operations. Prior roles at DP World include Safety Coordinator, HSE Specialist, and Safety Supervisor, focusing on health, safety, and environmental compliance across various projects. Cacio holds an Engineering of Production degree from Universidade Santo Amaro and has pursued further qualifications, including a postgraduate degree in Safety Engineering and an ongoing MBA in Engineering and Human Factors in Occupational Safety and Health. Additionally, teaching experience in safety technician programs was gained at various educational institutes, contributing to the development of future professionals in the field.
