James McGill has worked in the field of Facilities Management since 2007. James started their career as a lithography equipment engineer and was quickly promoted to Sr. Customer Service Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for managing all equipment work performed on flat panel Gen-4 Azores stepper, Tazmo coat and develop system, and OAI backside/edge expose tool. James also collected and monitored weekly MTBF and availability data, developed preventative maintenance schedules, ordered equipment spares, scheduled and performed equipment upgrades, wrote purchase specifications, and managed/performed high risk repairs on a single line lithography process. In addition, they led weekly vendor meetings to address nagging tool issues and worked closely with a team consisting of process engineers and maintenance technicians. James was able to increase tool/link capacity by performing tool upgrades.

James then moved on to ASML where they held the title of Sr. Customer Service Engineer (CSE IV) from 2001 to 2007. In this role, they were responsible for providing customer support for all ASML products in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. This included training customers on new products, providing product demonstrations, troubleshooting customer issues, and developing new applications. James was also responsible for managing all customer service activities in the region and ensuring that all customer service objectives were met.

In 2007, they returned to dpiX as the Facilities Manager. In this role, they are responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the facility, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and security systems. James also manages the janitorial staff, coordinates all building repairs and renovations, and oversees the budget for all facility-related expenses.

James McGill attended Montana State University-Bozeman, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
