Amanda Komar

Amanda Komar is a seasoned communications professional with a diverse background in managing communications, marketing, and brand strategies. Currently, Amanda works at DPR Construction as part of the Communications + Brand Team, overseeing editorial content creation and scheduling across various platforms. Prior experience includes serving as Communications Project Manager at the U.S. Green Building Council, where Amanda developed marketing plans for significant regional events and supported numerous community conferences. Additional roles feature media and communications support positions, as well as a leadership role in managing a sustainability consulting program at the Institute for Sustainable Development. Amanda holds a Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech in Environmental Policy and Planning, Psychology, and Forestry.
