Dan Ormston

Dan Ormston is a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience in estimating and project management across several prominent firms. Currently serving as a Senior Estimator at DPR Construction since January 2022, Dan has previously held similar senior estimator positions at Turner Construction Company and Grunley Construction Company, Inc. Specializing in mid-rise and hi-rise concrete frame construction, Dan has developed cost models and constructability reports for various project types, including office buildings and multi-family residential units. Prior roles include Senior Cost Planner at Lendlease, where Dan managed detailed budgeting and estimation processes, and Estimator at Bozzuto Construction Company, where coordination of bid teams and historical cost analysis was key. Dan started their career as a Contracts Manager at Ryland Homes and as an Assistant Project Manager at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Co., after earning a BS in Civil Engineering from Penn State University.
