Eric Altvater

Eric Altvater is a Software Engineer with extensive experience in web development and software architecture. Currently employed at DPR Construction since June 2021, Eric previously held notable positions at Pearson Online & Blended Learning, where responsibilities included leading a team in migrating over 30 K-12 school websites and implementing performance optimizations, resulting in significant improvements in site reliability and Google PageRank scores. Eric also contributed to the development of an automated testing framework and guided junior engineers in best practices. Prior to this, Eric worked at Connections Education as a Software Engineer II and I, focusing on web application development and enhancing team capabilities. Eric's career began at File Link Business Systems, where development of internal systems was a key responsibility. Eric holds a foundational education from the Western School of Technology and Environmental Science.
