Barak Newman

Barak Newman has a diverse range of work experience across various industries. Barak has held positions such as Managing Director Asia at DPS Group Global, where they were responsible for developing new markets within the Asia Pacific region and overseeing aspects such as business development, strategic planning, and marketing strategy. Barak also served as Director of European Management Board at DPS Group Global and Director of Israel Operations at DPS Engineering, where they managed the Israeli operations and played a leadership role in business development and financial structuring.

Prior to their DPS roles, Barak served as the Operations Manager - Israel and Project Manager at DPS Group Global, where they established the Local Israeli office and led a 3D CAD operation for a client. Barak also has experience as the Director of Sales & Marketing at UrbanRide, Inc.

Barak's work experience also includes being the CEO of Newman Genetics Ltd, a Bio Tech operation specializing in Bovine Embryo Transfer, and serving as the CEO and Director of Business Development at Dvir.ie Ltd, where they managed the company's business and operations in various regions including Asia.

Before that, Barak worked as a Senior Project Manager at Kav Project, where they played a lead role in the architectural design of clean systems for tool installation projects at Intel Fab. Barak began their career as an Industrial Engineer at CH2M Hill IDC.

Barak Newman attended Pinchas Sapir College in Israel from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management and Control, specializing in Industrial Engineering and Management. Barak then pursued a Master's degree in Jewish History from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they are a student at the University of Haifa, working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Israel Studies with a focus on Jewish Business Networks during the Middle Ages.
